On April 18th, we embarked on a journey to our western neighbors, visiting the fascinating Binnenschifffahrts-Museum in Oderberg. Our goal was to establish a partnership and lay the groundwork for joint activities as part of the River Meeting House project.

The Binnenschifffahrts-Museum is more than just a museum – it’s a true center of history, technology, and culture, as well as a key tourist attraction in Oderberg. This place allows visitors to dive into the captivating world of inland navigation and discover how this craft developed in areas connected to the Oder River. Interestingly, the museum originally served as a regional chamber dedicated to prehistory and early history, but over time, it evolved into a space showcasing both technical advancements and regional history.
