Schedule
Day 1 – Sunday
- Arrival and Accommodation: Welcome for participants and introduction to the workshop.
- Orientation: Presentation of workshop goals and program structure.
- Team Building Activities: Ice-breaking exercises that allow participants to get to know each other.
Day 2 – Monday
- Media Theory: Lectures on media theory, using audio/video equipment, and basic recording techniques.
- Exploration of the Region: Guided tour of the area, introducing participants to local culture and environment.
Day 3 – Tuesday
- Fieldwork: Group work on recording audio and video materials.
- Idea Reflection: Discussions and sharing ideas and impressions collected during fieldwork.
Day 4 and 5 – Wednesday/Thursday
- Odra River Cruise: Two days on the “Cultural Ship,” visiting places like Cigacice, Pomorsko, Brody, Gosthorze, and Krosno Odrzańskie. Participants will explore the cultural landscape and gather material for their reports. The cruise includes interactive activities such as film screenings and group music sessions.
Day 6 – Friday
- Return to Krosno Odrzańskie: Post-production sessions on audio-visual materials. Participants will edit their recordings, adding sound and visual effects.
Day 7 – Saturday
- Finalizing Projects: Participants finalize their multimedia and photographic projects.
- Project Presentation: Participants present their works to the group.
- Official Closing: Summary of shared experiences, certificate distribution, and a concluding group celebration.
Methods
- Lectures and Presentations: Theoretical introduction to the topic of new media and basic principles of audio-visual production.
- Practical Workshops: Hands-on sessions in audio, photo-video, and IT workshops, using modern equipment.
- Fieldwork: Project realization in a local context, allowing participants to actively explore their surroundings.
- Discussions and Exchange of Experiences: Time for reflection and sharing ideas, as well as discussing the challenges faced during project implementation.
Autumn and winter season
In the autumn and winter, the meetings will take on a more stationary form, without any cruises, but still featuring a rich workshop and integration program. Depending on the needs of the group, we are flexible – we can organize both full-week workshops and shorter events focused either on cruises or land-based activities. The goal is to build a space throughout the year for exchanging experiences and collaborative work.
